It’s not like it was Chinese business associates and the address was The Big Guy’s who subsequently told everyone his son didn’t have Chinese relationships. Oh well! Anyways….at least it wasn’t….. There's about 1,000 contextual variables that make this not news at all, and maybe 50 that would make this anything resembling a scandal or a crime. The amount of details we actually have are completely uncompelling, wake me up when there's something worth actually paying attention to. 1 5 Link to comment

Scarlet
Wow...mind numbing how ignorant some people can be about how wire transfers work. Do they think by listing an address a Wells Fargo truck will pull up to the address listed and drop off a bag of cash? 1 1 1 Link to comment

Scarlet
Of course disinformation campaigns aren't about being factual, they're about confusing the dimwitted 3 Link to comment
Dr. Strangelove
My God this is getting funny. Not that MAGA people aren't going to red pill themselves into believing any conspiracy thrown their way. 1 1 Link to comment

This is hilarious. I mean, sad because the GOP is a decaying carcass with legions of voters, but it's also funny. 1 1 Link to comment

Of course not. It's a huge problem and yeah, a complex one. San Francisco just committed $17 million specifically to stopping car break-ins, which became rampant about 5 years ago as organized rings perfected a system. San Francisco also recalled its progressive DA for a tougher-on-crime replacement. It's the #1 issue for any politician running for a city office. It's a larger issue in certain cities like SF and Oakland, where a tech culture already inclined to remote work virtually abandoned the downtowns during the pandemic. I just read this morning that those buildings and offices being abandoned downtown are getting grabbed by new companies and developers who couldn't afford Downtown in the past, but are now taking advantage of the bargain prices. Everything is cyclical. But homelessness, opiods, and fentanyl are making it untenable for politicians to do nothing. Link to comment
