Decked
Hello Jeff Sims. Wonder if we take Hornsby. Means Thompson is gone in that case but. Throws a pretty good amount of picks. Yolo bomb Tommy 2.0? 5 1 Quote Link to comment

suh_fan93
No knock but Sims numbers aren't what I'd call spectacular. Be interesting to see how he does. 1 Quote Link to comment

Be interesting to see how he does. Yeah but just got to trust that these coaches wanted him for a reason and that they can bring out the best in him since they do have a track record of developing players. His commitment to us was shocking bc it almost felt like it came out of left field. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
He threw for more than 250 yards five times, as well, including a 359-yard performance against Pittsburgh in 2021. A four-star recruit out of high school, Sims throws from the ear and can push the ball downfield with a flick of the arm, but Georgia Tech wasn’t much of a vertical passing team (unlike Nebraska in 2021 and 2022). Sims could be more accurate on the intermediate routes between 10 and 20 yards, but his 57.5% career completion rate isn’t bad. Quote Link to comment

PasstheDamnBallGuy
Sims seems to have a decent arm and is big and fast. Could be solid in an RPO offense with a lot of QB run mixed in. Quote Link to comment

He seems pretty open to run whatever offense and the rumor was recruits were saying we were gonna be more RPO based next year. From listening to Rhule talk and seeing the QBs we are targeting it def seems to me it will be heavy run focus including QB runs. 2 Quote Link to comment
