CMT1525
ASU would not be happy losing him, that's for sure. They are sold on this kid at QB, and they have a prestigious baseball program to offer as well. I'll be curious to see how this one shakes out. Heard asu offer was at safety not quarterback Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
This kid is a QB, not a safety. His patience and poise inside the pocket. Moves the pocket, but keeps his eyes down field while doing so. Doesn't get impatient just to pull and run. Has an actual feel for the rush. His patience on the zone read. He is willing to keep it to the last second to force that defender to be decisive so it makes his read that much easier. Also impressive how they ran a bit of a counter look out of a zone read play with him. And he has a very quick, short release. When he decides to throw it, that thing gets out in a hurry. I like his QB film. A lot. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
He tends to bring the ball back far, but he seems to have a CANNON! He runs the option just like TM3, but maybe not as fast... I like him though! Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
1,733 passing yards, 20 passing TD, 6 Int 1,418 rushing yards, 23 rushing TD Quote Link to comment
husker07
Already been commented on, but I find his running style EXTREMELY similar to Taylor. His arm and footwork are much better though. Would really like to get this guy. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
He's Taylor Martinez with juking ability and a stronger arm. Very good player! Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Damn how is this kid only a 3 star? He highlights were very impressive, great throwing mechanics, probably comes from the baseball aspect, great runner and does a great job of keeping his head up while scrambling and throwing on the run. I have him ranked higher up than Flowers just based off those highlights. And THAT'S coming from Roger Dorn! 4 Quote Link to comment
blessed2bahusker
The quickest release of any QB we've gotten to campus in recent memory. Quote Link to comment
blarson3
Great pocket presence. Love the way he isn't afraid to step up in the pocket and deliver a dime. WANT! Quote Link to comment
iowahuskers
His family is good friends with the Martinez family, his dad coached Taylor before he transferred to Corona Centennial. Their family also knows coach Fisher. Drake Martinez is his player host this weekend. I would think all these connections along with us offering him at QB put us in great position. AZRaiderH8r
ASU has a fairly solid QB set up for the next few years. I thought he was going to be part of it, but they definitely need athletes in the secondary, that's for sure. Moving him to S makes sense if he's cool with it. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
This may be the same highlight video as the Hudl video above but since I can't view Hudl I found one on YT. Sorry if it's a duplicate. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I really like how he moves in the pocket. I would love to have him on our team. Quote Link to comment
