Moiraine
I've never followed any type of fighting. But it seems to me that this fight is like... The best rugby team in the world playing its first American football game against the Super Bowl champions. 1 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
One of the biggest 'fights' in a while that I could absolutely care less about. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
I am intrigued by this battle and hope it is a good matchup. I won't be able to see it because of a wedding and wouldn't pay for it if I could. Quote Link to comment

Full disclosure: I know very little about boxing as a sport and don't find any kind of organized fighting appealing. I find the whole thing to be a charade. It's one of the greatest boxers of all time facing off against a loudmouth MMA fighter, somebody who has absolutely no business being in the ring with Mayweather to begin with. It seems like such a money grab, and paying the money to view it on PPV seems even more disingenuous. 1 Quote Link to comment

This fight in particular just feels like a big 'show' to me personally. It definitely feels like a money grab and nothing more. If I find a stream and am home I may still watch but can't say I'm 'excited' about it at all. Quote Link to comment

It was meant to extract money from easy marks. 1 Quote Link to comment
obert1
I was a lot more excited about Crawford unifying the belts. I don't think anything could happen in this fight that would be worth $100 of my money. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I have never paid for a ppv fight. Thinkkng about going to a bar to watch this just because I think mcgreggor has no clue what he's going to be up against. I bet bet a guy $20 he wouldn't make it past the 6th round. I'm pretty confident in that. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Welp the boxer won. Shocker. McGregor was gassed by the middle rounds. Quote Link to comment
MLB 51
I want to see Crawford and Mayweather fight at 147lbs. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
What's up with the "Decision will be finale after the 4th round" garbage? So had Mayweather KO'd Connor in the 2nd it wouldn't have counted? Quote Link to comment

Enhance
Read the NY Times synopsis this morning - seems like it all went done roughly how people expected, sans the 'McGregor will get knocked out early' talk. I guess McGregor can take a bit of a moral victory for hanging in there early, but by all intents and purposes, it sounds like Mayweather controlled the night. Quote Link to comment
