  1. Past hour
  2. https://www.ocregister.com/2024/04/30/qatari-money-and-the-pro-palestinian-campus-takeovers/amp/ “As of 2017, California campuses including Stanford University, UCLA, UC Berkeley and USC were among the top 10 recipients of Qatari money” I’m sure this is just a total coincidence. I’m confident any day now UCLA students will begin protesting for their school to divest from Qatar, given their endearing concerns for human rights. Surely they wouldn’t want their university to take billions in donations from a country with unconscionable human rights violations.
  3. If your “movement” or “cause” ranges from casual indifference to full throated enthusiasm for such heinously hateful imagery and messaging, it’s pretty difficult to take anything after that terribly seriously. It’s difficult to believe that these “protestors” are “sincere” or “have their heart in the right place.”
  4. Donald Trump remains the leading candidate to be the next President of the United States
  5. While the freedom of the Ukrainian people should remain paramount, it is clear to all involved that the war is also a referendum on Vladimir Putin and Russian regional influence. Weakening Putin helps the cost/benefit ratio in multiple scenarios, if that's what you're keen to measure. Of course the weaker Putin/Russia gets, the less willing Zelensky is to compromise, and it's honestly hard to see this getting settled without figuring out a face-saving concession for Putin that will stop the death and economic toll for both countries.

  7. I know, I gave you a +1 about it haha. Was just emphasizing that we are firmly in the leader spot unrelated to your post.
  8. There is a strong resemblance.
  9. On the vast majority of issues, Tulsi Gabbard voted with Democrats and against Donald Trump. What are her conservative credentials again?
  10. Is there a bigger @$$hole in the NBA than PatBev? Dray is a distant second IMO. I'm sure he, and the Bucks were being heckled all night by Pacers fans, but to pipe a ball at a woman's face, get the ball back from a fan and then pipe the ball at that fan was completely out of line. Those two fans could (and maybe should) go after his money and the NBA better fine and suspend him for that. If the NBA is all about player safety and keeping fans off the court and preventing another Malice in the Palace situation, then the players need to be held accountable as well and what PatBev did was egregiously past the line of acceptable. Video if you haven't seen it
  11. With a face like that too - I question Newsom's sanity.
  12. Another affect - the fewer Petro $$s flowing into their economy from outside weakens their economy overall and their ability to wage war.
  13. That's a thoughtful piece of on-the-ground reporting. Thanks.
  14. Remember, the most important thing to consider in this deadly conflict is how U.S. college students are acting.
  15. I still cannot believe that Gavin Newsom used to be married to her
  16. Hahahaha! STOP! Oh my god, that actually made me laugh out loud. I am a HUGE Twister Sister fan. I honored them with a TS patch on my jean jacket back in the day. Hard to believe more hotties did not flock to me. Also hard to believe I ever lost my virginity. Wasn't she a model at one point?
  17. Kimberly G just continues to look worse and worse. Time (and plastic surgery and too much filler) has not been kind to her. Oooof
  18. I didn't know Dee Snider went brunette.
