  1. Trump won because of the following: He was willing to talk about the border issues and make it a central theme. He campaigned in the upper Midwest and HRC didn’t. HRC was un-likable and people rightfully believed HRC thought she was above the law with her deleted emails and illegal server. People didn’t like that.

  2. Nobody. The poster making the claim notoriously gets off on making things up to feel good arguing against them.

  3. I don’t quite care if the person who generated the tweet is Republican, Democrat, Chinese, Ussian, Independent, Israeli, or an Alien. Nor do I care who he/she “pimps” The tweet isn’t about any of that ^^^^^….as you know and the source material comes from CNN and WSJ. You can let me know about Charlie Kirk’s Utopia. Seems you give him the time of day much more than I do.

  6. Ya, I haven’t posted this before! It’s not uniquely Republican, Democrat, or Courts. It’s a combination of all so this is where I thought best. you certainly can move it if this bothers you and find a different place.

  8. Psssst! You're on the Just Normal American Utopia thread. Why do you keep cocking it up with the same tired s#!t from multiple other threads?

  9. The other side of this is that everyone takes advantage of Democrat programs that help them ladder up to security and prosperity. Then when they get rich enough, the a$$h@!es become Republicans and pull the ladder away from those beneath them.

  10. They obviously are scared to have him speak to America talking about his successes....and, reminding everyone that the only issue Republicans have is the border and they were the ones that blocked the bill that could have improved the situation. Oh...and their leading candidate to run against him in the fall is a complete imbecile who has to spend his time in court rooms under 91 indictments.

  11. 2-1 doesn't tell the whole story imo. They beat Purdue and beat Michigan State on the road. Their loss was at Minnesota and they put 79 points on the board in a game that was basically even after Minn got a hot start. Bottom line, Ohio State will be a tough road game.

  16. Here's a good detailed analysis of the threat to democracy of second Trump term and the GOP's plan to install an autocracy. "As Alyssa Farah Griffin, former Trump White House Director of Strategic Communications, noted, “Fundamentally, a second Trump term could mean the end of American democracy as we know it, and I don’t say that lightly.”. She's only one of many former Trump officials who are sounding the alarm. Why would that be? MAGA will tell you it's all because they are "Deep State". Occam's Razor would suggest that it's because autocracy is exactly Trump's and the GOP's goal. A long thread expanding on the evidence. 17. Trump won because of two things. The "lock her up" crowd swarmed behind him and every time he was on stage he threatened her. He didn't talk about issues. He just ranted and called people names. MAGA loved it. THEN, Comey announces the investigation into Hillary a month before. That's why he won. He was the same piece of s#!t he is now.

  18. This person presented one of the dumbest ideas I’ve heard. Its sets an awful precedent. The take my back and go home attitude is ridiculous. And why in the world WOULDNT you want Joe to speak for as long as they want? You have a dementia brain who can’t even remember when he was VP. He’s an utter moron at this stage in his life and he wasn’t that bright to begin with.

  21. Hillary had it right when she called trump's followers as deplorable. While in 2016 - there were many, sincere people who thought trump was better than Hillary, in 2024 ;there is no excuse for any who stand with trump. In 2016 he was the unknown who many thought would be better than the unlikeable Hillary. Today Trump is fully known as the crook, opportunist, con man, that he is.

  27. It is and should be a states rights issue because there is no congressionally passed law dictating otherwise. Republicans should keep it that way.

  28. Ironic given the interaction in the post immediately below yours: When the King of Bulls#!tter Mountain is about to lead an entire party, of course they're going to focus on anything else. Frankly they have no room to complain about goalpost shifting when they're trotting out this goon. Personally I would advise you cancel your plans to write in Hunter Biden and get a load of this nutjob.

  30. Same guy - we all just got to know him better after 8 years of chaos and turmoil that follows him around. Haley has it right - if Trump gets elected it will be 4 more years of chaos, turmoil, and drama. We need to move on even if it is with sleepy Joe.

  33. It doesn’t suck. If neither one can think properly on the public stage, they should both be held to account for it. It should be worthy of discussion as a 78 yr old wanting to run the country Excellent question. You should ask them.

  37. Yeah, you are right. I personally do not care if a person is "sorry" for their crimes because I do not think they are every really sorry for them, I think they are sorry they got caught. So even if trump was like "I am sorry", it would not do anything for me. But I can see where it would for some. I just don't believe in Forgive and Forget. I don't think those two things ever really happen together. Unless you forgave someone and then got amnesia I guess.
