      It will be fine. Defenses are more about situational sets than they are about the actual scheme. If you call off the lions to try to protect a lead when getting after it was how you got there...then that's on the coach's defensive playcalling. Not the scheme.

      I agree Coach. I think the USF and especially the Memphis game was more of an exception than the rule. And I’m sure there were distractions to help cause those high scoring affairs, on top of USF being a solid team and a rematch against another solid team in Memphis.

       

      Cdog, Id like to think there are athletes on Nebraska’s defensive side of the ball who just need to have a fire lit to make them shine. But agreed, Griffin is a beast.

      @ladyhawke yeah, I’m my bad there. Not a Yankee fan but not a hater either and from all accounts I’ve heard is that Judge is a great dude. Hard to root against him and happy for his successes

    NIL is going to be big for Nebraska and I am excited to see how they embrace it. If they can start winning, it will be tough to stop.

    Pretty cool seeing Chucky go dap the entire MNHS team after the game and before the individual awards were handed out. 
     

    Who would have thought that Omaha metro would have 3 nationally ranked basketball teams. The girls have some up and comers making a splash, too.

    So awesome for the women’s volleyball team. The disrespect of placing them a 5 seed shouldn’t be forgotten anytime soon when it comes to B1G teams (mainly PSU and NU) coming out of conference and into the tourney. Especially after the way they tore through the field, minus the de facto national championship game against PSU.

      Especially with the winning streak Nebraska was on at the end of the season. Also the number of teams that went down 3-0 or 3-1 to the Husker ladies all season.  The only team to beat Penn St all year then to do it again in the semi's

    The hardest part was watching that game with my PSU alumni girlfriend. Oh boy I like how she hates to lose but not when it’s against my Huskers! Lol woooooo! #GBR

      At the time Washington signed Brown, Compton was still a RFA who had signed his tender yet.  Washington was most likely covering their bases.  Washington was definitely fortunate and Compton equally unlucky that a LB the caliber of Brown was willing to sign a 1 yr 'prove it' deal.

    "I was laying in bed last night and i drifted off to sleep and I had a dream that we where beating Bingville 14-3 but I woke up kind of sad ,but I cheered up when I realized that it was only a dream, because I know we can beat Bingville by way more than that
