      Before Norm died, his Italian Beef at the M&N Sandwich Shop was the best sandwich anywhere, even better than what you could find in Chicago. But now that he is gone, all other Italian beefs are subpar. Go with the Philly.

      I would guess that if Zoo had a good chair, he wouldn't consider his academic environment to be unsupportive or quite so soul-sucking. The quality of leadership in those sorts of positions makes such a huge difference.

      Hell yes, @Cdog923, the gyros from George's right on the corner. The Z sandwich. I still stop in there when I visit Lincoln (different owner now, I believe, but still delicious, even when sober). Many say Ali Baba's was better, but they are wrong.

    As the hubby of Gabby Union, Dwyane Wade is going to be in Lincoln.  There are rumors that Lebron might be joining him in Lincoln this week.  Lebron is supposedly a big Ohio State football fan, growing up in Akron.

      I think the announced attendance for South Alabama was 89, 502, back when everyone was hyped for the opening game. So the prop line now that we are dejected is...a higher number?

      I don't know, that's a big spread. Would make me nervous if I were a betting man. Scoring points won't be an issue, but we'll see how sharp the D is, and if there is any dropoff once the starters are pulled.

    Informal poll: my wife is traveling this weekend, which is the first time we haven't been together on a weekend in probably... years... by this point. Don't even remember the last time.

    I'm torn between being productive or just being a total degenerate. What say you?

      I would say that an enterprising young man like yourself can manage to be productive and be a degenerate all in the same weekend. Knock a few items off the honey-do list early, then resort to your old bachelorhood debauchery for the next day and a half. Right before she gets home, do the dishes and make the bed.

      I'm with ya there, BB. I always liked Ozigbo too. I found it shameful that so many people were bent on keeping him buried leading up to last year. And even after his breakthrough year, some posters can't resist the urge to knock him down a peg.

    What's the longest you have stayed at a job?

      You guys don't have the same wanderlust/impatience that my wife and I do. Since graduating from college, I've had jobs for 5 years, 5 years, 2 years, 4 years, and now in my second year at my current job. Always left on my own terms though, and have never burned a bridge.
