    Thinking about all the years a 4-team playoff might have helped us.... '82, '84, '99... may have had different paths to title in years we played Miami or FSU too. I think TO has possibly 5 or 6 titles under this system.

    This coaching staff has just completely ignored special teams. Not just this year, either. Several years.

      Obvious assessment. But I wouldnt say special teams as a whole. Mainly punt returns.

      I just dont understand the anomoly of punt returns for this team over the last few years. It's extremely head scratching.

      Punt returns, punt coverage, kick returns. The returner is almost always left isolated which is why they keep crapping their pants and taking their eyes off the ball. We don't try to block punts, either. In a game where your offense turns the ball over five freaking times, I'd like to see more aggression.

    This decision will ultimately be judged by whomever the replacement is.... so I guess I won't really know what I think until that guy is hired. This is only a move worth making if the new guy is a good hire.

    This is why I don't put much thought into our recruiting rankings until signing day is done.... because so much always happens in the last few days. These guys have always been closers.

      Been pretty incredible. Seems like Bo and the staff have an added confidence from the bowl game and having the approval from the AD during all the sh#t storms this year.
