competition makes everyone better. Speaking of competition, I really hope that Armstrong and Stanton dont just concede 2013 to Taylor. I hope our staff gets it into their head to compete for that job as well, even though it's Taylor's to lose.

If we can grab Johnson, to be honest it will be probably Bo's second best (on paper) OL class he has signed. I do feel we are in very good shape with Mr. Johnson as well. He needs to stay at OT!!!!!!!!!!

EZ, I assume you mean the best OL class he has signed would be the year that included Price, Moore, Klach, Sterup, and Reeves. Considering that two of those guys (including arguably the headliner) are now out of the program... I'd call this his best class. We're getting bodies, and this class has a great mix of great measureables, potential, and ability to contribute immediately.

Saying anyone will be better than O'Hanlon is a very tall order and I am serious. We haven't had a safety do his job and better understand Bo's scheme than O'Hanlon. I do in fact believe that Gregory will give us the biggest impact right away though.

when Bo became our head coach i seem to remember him being asked if he would go after or bring some of lsu commits with him. i seem to remember him saying that that is not how you do business.

Maybe not. But these kids know the rules to keep their scholly when they sign up. If they don't want to earn their pay (scholly) then they get cut (fired). Works the same way in a job. Its more fair than the boyscouts would have you believe. It is the way the game is going and if we want to be competitve then we better keep up, like it or not.

He is probably doing it legit, but there is a difference between an SEC program and Nebraska, as someone probably posted already in this long comment list. SEC=1 year scholly, Nebraska= 4 years automatically. We don't cut because someone doesn't live to their expectancy. SEC needs to care about the kids more than football.
