  1. If you think Pelini should stay, fine. Difference of opinion, and I respect that. Is it really necessary to make your point by attacking the fans who disagree? That's arrogant, childish, and it does FAR more to hurt our fanbase than simply thinking we need a new coaching staff.

So two wrongs do make a right? Got it.

Nope, nowhere did I say that. Congrats on reading into my statement exactly what you wanted to. I'm pointing out the bias in the initial post. If you really didn't want drama, you would say, "No matter what side of the Bo thing you're on, attacking fans hurts our fanbase...blah blah blah."

    4. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

Sorry, I had already assumed the obvious, that it is and always has been a two way street. Neither side of the issue has a monopoly being guilty or not guilty.

  2. I'd say that's a pretty good time to catch your first TD pass.

  3. No, it's not Taylor Martinez's fault we lost, and no, we wouldn't have won with Armstrong starting. Some people should engage their brain before they engage their mouth.

But once again, I'm not laying the loss at his feet...that belongs to the crap coaches we have.

      What Mr. A said. Exactly.

The offense changes with who is taking the snaps. TA3 struggles, but yet the team wins and controls a game. TM struggles and we look like today and week 1-3

  4. Let me just go on record as saying that, no, I do NOT have Bo's back in this.

  5. I hope Jameis Winston lives up to the hype just so Texass can collectively kick themselves for not recruiting him.

  6. Mike Marrow left? TOTALLY didn't see that one coming. Was he even on the roster at the end of the season?

  9. The halftime show tonight was... Hahahaha, just kidding! Who cares about the halftime show?

The power outage has been the most exciting part of the entire SB.

  10. SF's defensive backs are the obvious hole in the team. Hope there's a good CB or safety available for the last 2 picks in the 1st round.

  11. One of the innovators of quad/snowmobile freestyle passed away today. Ride in Peace, Caleb Moore.

  12. Funny how when Aaron Green left he was an immature traitor for leaving because he wasn't getting PT, yet it's the staff's fault Braylon Heard is leaving for the same reason, even though he'd likely be 2nd string this season. I'm not showing Heard any more love than I showed Green just because he stayed for one more season, sorry.

Why? Ameer and Heard both played as Freshmen, so did Rex, so did Helu. It's not unreasonable to think that Newby and/or Taylor won't.

    3. QMany

      QMany

I couldn't see him being effective with the whole playbook for a while, but I definitely think Newby will be lethal in certain sets. I really like Taylor, too.

You have a camp of people that say the groin injury was a smokescreen. But there's no way to be 100% sure. Hard to blame the staff if the groin thing was 100% legit.

  13. Wow... a lot of concern over Braylon Heard transferring. Running back is the LAST position on the team we have to worry about. We'll be fine.

  14. Any questions about whether or not Kaepernick is the real deal have been answered. Colin is a beast.

    1. Count 'Bility

      Count 'Bility

That will be Taylor Martinez in 3 years.

    2. HuskerShark

      HuskerShark

haha i wish that were true, accountability. Unfortunately, Kaepernick is 5 times the passer Taylor can ever hope to be.

  15. There are two types of NFL fans: Ones who understand the game of football, and Tebow fans. Sadly, Jacksonville has more of the latter than the former.

Where the f else is the guy gonna go? He's got NOWHERE else to sign unless he's willing to sign as a special teamser. And now it sounds like even Jax has wised up.

    3. Hammerhead

      Hammerhead

Jacksonville's not doing as bad in terms of attendance as everybody seems to think. Huskeraddict has it right. Bringing Tebow in and not addressing the QB problem in a practical manner will bring in Tebow fans for a few weeks until he gets benched. Winning will bring real fans in for years.

    4. Creighton Duke

      Creighton Duke

Dropping some chump change on Tebow while actually drafting for the future would kill two birds.

  17. Sorry Wisconsin. The roses are staying in Cali!

  18. I don't believe it's a matter of talent. This team *can* play with anybody in the country at times. They just can't do it for 60 minutes.

    1. wiby_NU

      wiby_NU

Not being able to play a full 60 minutes against SEC caliber teams directly means we are lacking talent. Very similar to last years bowl game.

    2. Hammerhead

      Hammerhead

It's not just SEC teams, though. It's every team we've played this year.

    3. macroboy

      macroboy

I also think that it IS talent. Emotion and scheme will keep you in it for a while but over the length of a game talent starts to show.

  19. Today was a great day for recruiting. Just not for us.

not that the heisman isn't already, just saying.

  22. Wow, heaven forbid somebody be realistic about the way this team is playing and not be all RAH RAH RAH 100% of the time. One of my friends on my Facebook just gave me the "you're not a real fan" line. I don't think he's going to like my response.

  23. Go Stanford. There's nothing else to say.

does it really matter? I'd like to see them get killed because their fanbase is a bunch of arrogant dicks.

    3. Hammerhead

      Hammerhead

Getting crushed by Stanford will shut the Wisconsin fans up. THAT'S what I care about, not how our conference looks. The B1G could have every single team in the top 25, and all people would care about is the SEC.

    4. beanman

      beanman

true story Hammerhead. SEC has the media hangin' from their nuts

  24. Just saw the stats for Stanford's rushing defense. I hope we don't face them in the Rose Bowl if we make it there.

    1. HuskerShark

      HuskerShark

Yeah, because we obviously haven't moved the ball on any good defenses whatsoever.
