All the analysts saying to prepare for a lot of unexpected fireworks around the country. Seems like 2nd stringers everywhere will be looking at options. That time of year where we just can’t overreact to unexpected attrition and hope it’s limited. I expect most on our end will be good attrition. Quote Link to comment
soup
I'm not sure what the current scholarship counts are, or what the even looks like in this day and age, but if taken at face value. We NEED to lose quite a few. 1 Quote Link to comment
Wistrom Disciple
Corey Collier & Eric Fields hitting the portal this morning it appears. Have to imagine at least a few more still to come. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Caliborn72
Yeah these were both known, just made official today with the portal being open. A little bummed Collier didn’t work out because he seemed like the exact type of player who would excel in this defense. Wanted to like Fields but ultimately that offer list didn’t lie. Attitude and thin frame for fields not his level of play. Quote Link to comment
Caliborn72
I get it but frame is one of the biggest factors in recruiting offer lists. Quote Link to comment

Just seemed Fields was one of those guys who gets home sick. I don't remember hearing anything negative about him. He just up and went home 1 Quote Link to comment

Once everything goes internal & contracts get inked I think while it will still be “crazy” compared to before it will have settled down from the lawless Wild West it is now. The NCAA is truly useless. 2 Quote Link to comment

The professional leagues can impose the rules they do because the athletes are employees who have collective bargained those conditions. Neither of those are true in the case of collegiate athletics. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
