spankytoes
I personally refuse to cheer for Bama and have no problem making my opinion known on that. I'm with you sir. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
We don't have to blame anyone but ourselves for this loss. 106 yards of offense. That is why we lost this game. First and goal from the 10 yard line, three points scored. Six first downs. Stop blaming the BCS or the officials. It starts and ends with us. We have enough integrity for that, don't we? Igetbored216
I'm not boycotting the game, but I will be rooting for BAMA. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMoon
Just because the BCS sucks doesn't mean I should have to not watch football. ROLL TIDE! Quote Link to comment
Bradr
I just can't do it. The college football-less no man's land between January and September is too much to bear. I've got to take in every opportunity I can get. Quote Link to comment

Obviously our offense has major work to do and hopefully for our sake they will. But we still lost the game and honestly we shot ourself in the foot on that final drive Texas took the lead. With that said I'm just glad we are back to the point where in these big games we are being heartbroken rather than blown out. Sooner than later that'll change and we will be winning these games. Hopefully we do well against arizona and get suh a heisman. GBR!!!! Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Boycotts? That is the very essense of (Texas A&M) Aggy. FYI - we don't know or really care about your biases against A&M, so this isn't much of a dig at us. If you really wanted to make your point you would have said, "This is the very essence of (Colorado) Buffalo." The UT/A&M rivalry stuff just doesn't translate on our board. Sorry. We lost because of long term issues (our offense) and stupid mistakes at the worst possible time. The refs had very little to do with it. Great teams overcome a few bad calls, or at least put themselves in a position in which the bad calls can't influence the outcome. Funny that this board prays the Husker Prayer before each game, but forgets this part when it's over: "If we should lose, we'll stand by the road, And cheer as the winners go by. Well, let's not compare a school with more National Championships than your's to another with "little man's syndrome." We are a fanbase that feels that this conference will do whatever Texas wants, regardless of the other 11, and it chaps our ass because we allowed you into our conference 12 years ago. Your recent resurgence is partly due to the fact that we agreed to allow you to join our conference instead of slipping into the WAC or other meaningless conference. You can't argue the fact that UT wasn't very good before the forming of the Big 12 and a lot of that has to do with the lack of national exposure you got in the SWC. However, I don't hold any of this against any fan of UT. You guys are a proud fanbase, and rightly so. I may be in the minority, but I say good luck in Pasadena. Win it for the Big 12 and everybody else that hates the SEC. Quote Link to comment

The difference being that we didn't "show our ass" in this game. Barring a questionable last-second play, we win. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
I'll pass on the boycott. The only message that would send is that HuskerNation is full of whiners. Quote Link to comment
