Husker_x
The transformation into a family matter is also curious. The interent is like a giant game of telephone that never stops. Except it's worse. The game can be played a thousand times faster by a thousand times as many people all at the same time. I understand why people in Bo's situation would hate to deal with it. It's like fighting a hydra that won't die. Whether you lock yourself in or open all practices to media, the problem remains. Best you can hope for from their position is to rapidly put out correct information to credible sources like the LJS or OWH. Sometimes you don't have the luxury of OPs amending their statements or local 'in-the-know' people squashing it. Quote Link to comment
95huskers
The info that I have gathered is that he did receive a deep quad bruise just above his knee. That when he initially went down he grabbed his knee. He will have that Charlie horse feeling for 3-4 weeks. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
It's just unfortunate. I can bitch about my life on the internet and nobody would really make a big deal out of it. I'm free to stub my toe against a door and cry about it on twitter or facebook if I were so inclined. These athletes are just college students, and yet they do not have that same luxury. They have to watch it. It's a tough lesson that many are not going to grasp, and it's unfortunate but necessary that they will have to. Amazing how much effect an "FML" tweet can have, if it comes from a D1 football player. I would not be sorry at all if Bo forced all Huskers to close their twitter accounts. It would be the best solution, IMO. 1 Quote Link to comment

okaive
Man, I would be playing with people's heads if I was in their position just to come to a forum like this and have a good laugh. Even have side bets with other players to see how many posts/pages it could get within an hour. Quote Link to comment

I'll be glad to introduce you Speed. When I first read this I thought you wrote you'd be happy to introduce him to speed. And speed kills, folks. That's what I heard, anyway. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
If he is only going to miss the first game or two this could be somewhat of a good thing. It will give a young guy some pt and an opportunity to gain some experience. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
He may not miss any time at all. We still haven't heard a thing. Bo will come out and tell us that everyone is 100% and we'll know that there are zero injuries and all is right with the world. Just like last year. Quote Link to comment

HuskerNMO
Bo says Dennard pulled a muscle, unsure how long it will impact him or if he'll be ready for the opener. Quote Link to comment
da skers
Bo says Dennard pulled a muscle, unsure how long it will impact him or if he'll be ready for the opener. Thats a lie. Sports Nightly, the OWH and USC said nothing happened. 2 Quote Link to comment

husker B-rent
thats the word in a few other places. supposedly a pulled leg muscle. sounds somewhat iffy due to a pulled muscle meaning out indefinitely but its starting to pick up steam so thought id post it. am trying to confirm with a few people i know but no response yet.
