walksalone
It's been a pretty good few months for me... Last December I saw Clutch, C.O.C., and a new band Kyng (who are freaking amazing) Took my kid to a crap screamo show, Texas in July and August Burns Red redeemed seeing crap show by going to Anthrax/Testament and up coming, D.R.I. and the Cro-Mags, then Opeth, Mastodon, and Ghost, then Overkill & D.R.I., and finally Iron F*CKING Maiden with Alice Cooper.... The Dude
I'll be seeing Clutch next month here in Lincoln. They're one of the best live bands a guy can see. Would love to see Mastodon+Opeth, but that show's not coming around these parts. I've seen both of them, seeing them on the same night would be amazin'. Don't much care for the concert experience anymore. I'm very picky about who I'll actually go see in concert. Got offered a free ticket and ride to Omaha to see Testament. Even though I somewhat like them I was like "nah". Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
I must be getting old. I know who Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, and Anthrax are but I've never heard of those other bands. Last concert I went to was Poison and Cheap Trick about 2 years ago. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Went to Mayhem Fest last summer: In Flames, Unearth, Trivium, All Shall Perish, Machine Head, Megadeth, Godsmack & Disturbed Saw 5FDP, Hatebreed, All That Remains, and Rains (Rains didn't belong in that group, a lot of people were confused when the started playing) Probably go back to Mayhem this summer, unless I move by then. Man, D.R.I would be SWEET!! Looks like you have a pretty good selection of shows to see coming up. As for me, Rob Zombie and Megadeth and I guess Vince Neil is playing at the local casino Quote Link to comment

That is what they are advertising, I would guess that another opener would be before Volbeat, but maybe not since Zombie and Megadeth are co-headliners. Quote Link to comment

They were doing Megadeth, Motorhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil for Gigantour, but that ended this week. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Tried winning tickets to see KORN tonight. (Can't wait to tell my Son tomorrow how good they were) Back when I could afford to BUY tickets, they were usually around $ 20...Now a pair goes for a car payment. I think the last one I payed to see was Carlos Santana/B.B.King/Buddy Guy shortly after SRV was killed (They all did a Stevie Tribute to end the show)...oops...I forgot my 1st date with the Ex..Kansas/Yes. strigori
I saw Hurt do an acoustic show at the Slowdown last Friday, they are one of my favorite bands, and it was a damn good show. Other than that it has been awhile since I caught a concert. I think the last before that was a Rock Fest at Westfair when Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour and Disturbed were playing, summer of 2010. I need to get out more. Quote Link to comment
