knapplc
Four-year contract, $2.491 million. Not bad. Texans fans are pretty excited about it, they're calling Crick a "steal" in the fourth. They could be very, very pleased with him. LINK Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Nice chunk of change, hope he does well for them. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
Not a bad payday for a small town Nebraska kid. Quote Link to comment

Good luck, Gilleylen! EDIT - don't forget about THIS "INCIDENT" with Gilleylen. Dude's heart has been in the right place. EDIT #2: There were 29 tryout players that participated in the Packers’ rookie camp. Here is a breakdown of the five tryout players that signed: Gilleylen (5-11, 213): He played in 30 games with two starts at Nebraska. He was limited to just eight games in 2010 and 2011. Blackshirts007
Watch gilleylen will end up making the team and doing decent. Kind of like Chris Brooks. Didn't do much around here due to little playing time and then end up doing good in the NFL. Quote Link to comment

okaive
Hmmm, I am shocked that Texas fans aren't going berzerk because he is from NU. Good luck to all of them. Quote Link to comment

Moiraine
Hmmm, I am shocked that Texas fans aren't going berzerk because he is from NU. ?? ditto that. Texas fans aren't as obsessed with Nebraska as Nebraska fans seem to be with Texas. Furthermore... it's a completely different team. It'd be like us saying that we don't want recruits from Texas because we dislike one of the state's teams. Quote Link to comment
IvabigN
yes "the Cricket" and the Cure along with Phonzie will be great additions for their teams Quote Link to comment

lo country
I like the part where he is described as "freakishly athletic". Sadly, another position switch, get lost, freakishly athletic kind of player. Hope it works out for him. Quote Link to comment

okaive
Remember last year when talks of Dallas might be picking up a Husker (can't remember who it was), but the fans were going nuts and not wanting a Husker in the state of Texas, or just Dallas (can't remember which on that one either). Just thought they would be the same as for any team in Texas. Quote Link to comment
