95huskers
i thought it would be close to 10 before i watched the highlights of the msu osu game... i think it is right but i think that we will get beat by more than that Quote Link to comment
tschu
IIRC, home field advantage is usually worth 5-7 points so basically the books have it even. Will be interesting to see the line move. Can be as few as 2 points, as many as 5 or 6. A pretty safe number to go with is 3, but the shoe is a tough environment so I'd agree with you that we'd probably be pretty even or maybe 1-1.5 pt dogs on a neutral field. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Well Taylor likes playing against away games so we should be in good shape. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
40-23 Ohio State Sorry but we haven't shown anybody that we can outplay our opponent and play mistake free football. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
I figured it would open at 6.5 so I wasn't too far off, I wouldn't bet on this game. It could be a 3 point game or 30 point game, depends how slow we start. Obviously you need a spy on Braxton but unfortunately we don't have a LB who could even come close to keeping up with him, so I think we should put a nickel, like ciante and run like a 4-2-5 with ciante being the spy, we need someone who can keep up with him, and fisher needs to take this game off, ball had a good 7 yards on him and if he catches that ball (no pun) we lose that game Quote Link to comment
nuhuskeralum
I'm torn, wouldn't bet real money on either. OSU hasn't been that impressive other than BM, he alone keeps them in this game. If our lines compete close to even I like our skilled positions better to take this game in a 30+ apiece game. So I'm going with NU for the straight up win, Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
You know Bo's philosophy on spying the QB. I don't see it happening. We just need to play our assignments, and the LBs and DBs have to fill the holes, be physical at the point of attack, push the blockers backward, shed the blocks, and make the tackle. BME_Buckeye
I'm sadly picking Neb to win this. I honestly think that if T-mart throws the ball a lot, he'll do more damage to our secondary. I hope I'm wrong but this figures to be our toughest game all year long. Quote Link to comment

Remember the roughing the punter penalty. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I think it's funny that a majority of Husker fans think that Ohio State will win this game, while the only Buckeye fans I have heard from all think that Nebraska will win. Two pretty beatable teams, both inconsistent, both with explosive offenses and average defenses. Should be a hell of a game. 1 Quote Link to comment
Malth
We can beat anybody in the conference, it solely depends on how they come out to play. Miller worries me, but we have an offense of our own that can rack up the points. I have a tough time saying either team is the favorite, seems like a pretty even match up. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Curious if tOSU pulls any of that video crap they pulled with Michigan State. Not that it matters, but I just think Urban's the guy who will take anything to its furthest acceptable point in order to gain an advantage. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
I'm clueless "except" I doubt the Buckeyes can stop our offense. The last two years shows Tmart, SRex, etc can show up big in the 2nd half so if our defense can somewhat hold their own we'll pull it out. I like our chances. NU 33 Buckeyes 30 Quote Link to comment
Coqui
Ohio State is better from top to bottom, and they have the home field advantage. Ohio State by two touchdowns. Martinez is a more accurate passer. Ohio State has a worse passing defense. Quote Link to comment
Coqui
Ohio State is better from top to bottom, and they have the home field advantage. Ohio State by two touchdowns. I think that is a bit much. Two touchdowns is overboard. I think the 5 points... even maybe 7 if it goes there is reasonable.. but not 14 points. They're not better from top to bottom. They struggled to a Cal team that might win 2 games. Transitive property does not apply to football. Quote Link to comment
