Minnesota_husker
I think Braylon has the most "pure" talent of any RB but he is still 3rd on most depth charts I would assume. I think Newby takes over his role. I hate to see him go, but I think this is the best for him. I hope he goes to a mid major like Ohio and does well. Quote Link to comment
QMany
Definitely will be burning one freshman redshirt now. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
I would gladly keep Heard in place of Newby and Taylor in exchange for some badass O and D lineman. 2 Quote Link to comment

The Maudfather
Really sucks to lose Braylon. I expected him to challenge Ameer for the number 1 spot. Great speed, great talent and he never got enough touches here. I think he's going to be a standout wherever he ends up. Quote Link to comment

The Maudfather
So, losing Braylon, how many are we going to have in scholarship next season? (Provided we sign 25) Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
Lovely news, this kid has big time talent and will be a stud of a RB. Just another 4 star off the team.... 1 Quote Link to comment
QMany
Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC Reached Monday night, Pelini would neither confirm nor deny the report. He said he had no comment. #Huskers Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
well i guess all the people that predicted he would pass abdullah look dumb now Quote Link to comment
mbhusker13
I'm disappionted...I was hoping to see him push Ameer. I also don't recall him having ball security issues. Newby and Taylor must be legit. Quote Link to comment
tschu
God. Dammit. I really liked Heard. He was a natural and deserved more PT than he got, especially when Rex was injured. 1 Quote Link to comment

I agree 100%.. No reason that Ameer deserved that much of the pressure and carries. I wouldnt mind seeing a 50/50 with Ameer and Heard. I dont fault the kid for leaving. I thought he had a ton of talent.. He will thrive in a place like Ohio. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
That stinks. Really liked Heard. Wanted to see him get more carries. People kept said he was our most natural runner back there. But Abdullah was playing great, Cross is great in his role, and we're bringing in some really good backs in this class. Braylon had also dabbled with a position switch last season. WHen you overstock a position too much you usually suffer some attrition. At least it's not a top tackle at a position without depth Harrison Becking in the middle of fall camp. Quote Link to comment
