StPaulHusker
David Stern needs those advertising dollars. On to game 7 Quote Link to comment
beanman
Ginobili went full retard. Yes he did. He's been there pretty much the whole series other than game 5. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
Stern knows there will be a lot more, no a ton more press if the Heat win Game 7. ESPN can kiss azz all summer and well into the fall if the Heat win and the NBA knows that kind of press can't be bought....unless you count the money paid to the refs. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Ginobili went full retard. Yes he did. He's been there pretty much the whole series other than game 5. Seems like he's been playing out of control the entire series, especially lastnight in overtime. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
tonight the Heat had to play not only against the Spurs but also the officials. The Spurs did seem to get the calls for a lot of the game, but down the stretch, the Heat got almost EVERY call. In one sequence of events, Duncan gets molested by Mike Miller, it's called a jump ball, they go to the other end, Lebron spins out of control and mows over Duncan, foul on Duncan. WHAT?! Then shortly after, Ginobili fast break, gets hugged by Ray Allen, no call. But you're right in your other posts, if Leonard makes both free throws, the game is over. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Regardless, it was an incredible game. I wish the outcome would have been different, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Quote Link to comment

Not to nit-pick but the foul wasn't on Duncan, it was on Ginobili. LeBron tripped over his foot and an argument could be made the Ginobili had position first but the offense is always going to get that call. Quote Link to comment

I will have to see it again then, but it just looked like Lebron was out of control on that one. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
The right team won the game. Umm... No um yes. The Spurs were pretty much getting all the calls and they choked on the free throw line. We're u not watching the end of the game? Lots of non calls especially on manu's drive to the basket That was a good no call.... He was reckless/out of control going into the lane. The Bosh block to end the game was NOT a foul, as most have said on the internet/t.v. A ref isn't going to let a call like that end the game, and he shouldn't... Quote Link to comment

Seems like he's been playing out of control the entire series, especially lastnight in overtime. Manu has always played out of control, and with a relentless passion. The problem now is age has caught up with him.... He has been one of my favorite players for a long time.... He perfected my favorite basketball move (The Euro-step)..... Quote Link to comment

He ran into him with the body. But on the other hand, Splitter had a pretty obvious moving screen on Ray Allen, so it all evened itself out. People complain about officiating (me included) but IMO it's been a pretty well officiated series. People don't realize how difficult it would be to ref in the NBA. It's such a fast game, and so many of the calls are extremely subjective. Quote Link to comment
