Mavric
how can I get an image to post from twitter? the isnt working. I typically rehost pics onto my own image hosting site, then use that code inside the tags. Some sites, like PhotoBucket or Imgur, will give you the whole thing, brackets included. https://pbs.twimg.co...As4AZ.jpg:large[img/] I also had to remove the ":large" from the end of those URLs so that might be messing you up. Junior
Is it just me, or are the alternating colors a little less obnoxious on this batch? Quote Link to comment

You have to remove that, and you're golden. But when you remove the ":large" thing, you post a smaller pic. That's why I usually save the pics, rehost them, and post the rehosted pic. You get full size that way. Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
Another update of the installation, courtesy of NU Compliance: Already posted for this thread but replay link. The same turf and probably the same crew. 5 weeks from the beginning to the end. 1 Quote Link to comment
HeyBurke
Is it just me, or are the alternating colors a little less obnoxious on this batch? They seem to be a little less obvious from those pics. I think it's harder to see from ground level. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
The alternating greens look the same to me. And by the same I mean sexy as hell. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
I don't like it. It's too green, take it back! Quote Link to comment
blessed2bahusker
It should look about the same color of green once they get those cork granules all over the field. That Tulsa field changes quite a bit in color after the cork is laid down. Quote Link to comment
Twinkletoes Flintstone
Yeah, I agree about the color changing, will look a little lighter and dulled IMO. Here is a pretty cool video on how they actually make this stuff. 1 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Walked by the stadium and took a couple more pics of the turf today. The backing on this new turf is different than the old stuff. The old stuff just had plain black matting underneath the grass bits, while this stuff has a rubber ridge that underlays the stitching. Probably more secure that way. 1 Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Knappy-slappy... I ask this in the nicest way possible- What do you do all day that allows you to take up close pictures of turf?--- Just Admit that you are Barney Cotton. 2 Quote Link to comment
