B.B. Hemingway
And so it begins. Nebraska has started to campaign on Ameer's behalf. His name should be prominent on multiple CFB individual award lists as the season comes to a close....Well deserved Ameer, and here's to a 2014 Heisman campaign! Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
They've been hitting it pretty hard on twitter this week. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
If our line, decimated by injury and banged-up as it is, can bully enough room for Ameer to rush for 120-something yards against the nation's best rush defense, I can only imagine what they can do for him next year when he and they are, presumably, a little bit better (and healthier). And let's not forget Ameer has been "slowed" by a bad ankle the last couple/three games. This is being attributed to conditioning by some people, who apparently don't read this board, they just post on it. The only problem I see next year is, will Beck be patient enough to use Ameer like he should, or will he continue his pass-happy, go-away-from-what's-working ways? Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Did he find a lost dog? Did he return a bag of money? I missed what happened for him to earn a Reward. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan1985
Just think how good he would be if he still had dreads. its a known fact that dreads make you better. all kidding aside, he's had a really good season and has managed to get the fumbles under control. He's is very deserving of recognition. Quote Link to comment
simplekin
That run @ 2:44 was badass. I hope he gets the attention he deserves. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
Good for Ameer! Quote Link to comment
NUance
The first down pickup when it was fourth and 15 against NW may have been his best run of the season. (2:40 in the vid) It was a super-human effort to get those last five yards. Just an incredible run. Too bad it's overshadowed by the miracle throw. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Athletic department put this up to promote Ameer Abdullah's candidacy for postseason recognition. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=209316486 Quote Link to comment

Blackshirts007
Good luck Ameer. Unfortunately I think he will get overlooked a lot but he is definitely one of the best RB's in the country right now. The media is starting to pay attention and by next year I think people will be full of Ameer Kool Aid. Quote Link to comment
Ironhorse565
One thing about him is he REALLY deserves any and all the cudos he can get. In my opinion his work ethic and team first attitude fall right in line with what makes Nebraska so special. I will support any effort to get him in the National Spotlight any way I can help. I also love the hint that he is not jumping to the NFL till his work here is done. As an I-Back here we all know what a risk he is taking with his future by coming back and playing again.......that good people takes a special kind of person to put his Team and School ahead of the $$$ signs of the NFL. WE WISH HIM THE VERY BEST OF LUCK GBR! Quote Link to comment

swmohusker
If we undergo a coaching change i would expect this to be the last few games for Abdullah and Mr. Gregory. If we have a coaching change and both these guys have high draft grades I would not be surprised if they both left this year. I wouldnt come back and risk it with a new coaching staff and a new system. Quote Link to comment
