funhusker
Complete b.s. What happens if Ameer gets caught up at the goal line and that player makes the play. Is he still "out of the play"? It was NOT a block in the back! Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
The refs tried just as hard to f#*k us as we did. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Putting myself in the refs shoes; I probably wouldn't have made that call. Putting myself in Burtch's shoes; I probably wouldn't have made that, uh, block. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
Haha irafreak just gif bombing every thread. I like it Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
There was no launching, no helmet to helmet, I don't see how any rule applied to the call. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
I'm celebrating! Tired of complaining! We won! Quote Link to comment

Putting myself in Burtch's shoes; I probably wouldn't have made that, uh, block. When I saw the play. I was thinking the same thing, there was no reason to make the block. I was watching KB, hoping he wouldn't draw a penalty. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I hope NU lodges a complaint against these refs. That was a terrible call. Just awful. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
Just a bad call, it happens. Kids did not quit on that, and that says something. That had to be gut wrenching. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I'm celebrating! Tired of complaining! We won! The win just feels a little better when you overcome adversity. By the way, several players went down, but did all of them come back? Quote Link to comment
deedsker
If I am the ref I don't make that call. If I am Burtch I make that block. He didn't lead with the crown of his head, he didn't hit a defenseless player, and he didn't hit him in the name of the jersey. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
i just miss the days when penalties made sense. when they served a purpose. now it is to penalize anything the refs think is too much or unnecessary, or something. 1 Quote Link to comment

I was against the targeting rule because of this. An abundance of judgement calls leads to an abundance of questionable calls. I like bowling. The refs never make a bad call. Quote Link to comment
