HuskerfaninOkieland
Does anyone know why the conference championships posted in the stadium stops at 1999?! Rhetorical question at its worst Quote Link to comment
wojo9457
Can I be the first to ring the " Wait till next year bell"??? Quote Link to comment
Hujan
The worst part of this game was pelinis halftime comment and especially hitting the ref in the face with his hat. We're I the ref I would have ejected him. I've been a pelini supporter but I don't know what to think now, I think stuff like that tarnishes your brand alot I thought the same thing. The sideline reporter was only doing his job. As far as the ref incident I can understand why Bo was irate, but as a head coach you just cannot swing in the ref's face. That will be flagged every single time. I'm sure the behavior/conduct issues will be a prominent part of Eichorst's remarks in his press conference when he announces Bo's termination. And they should be. Firing him for his demeanor would sure reduce the chatter about firing a 9 win coach (speaking of average, not necessarily this year).... He's not a "9-win coach" at the moment. Husker in CA
It's been a LOOOONG time since a team has brought a 3rd string QB in against NU for mop up duties. Quote Link to comment
The Duke
This may end being the worst traveled bowl game bye the husker fans in 20 years. Hey at least it's still a bowl game. Let us never forget how this fan base felt during the Callahan years when we didn't even make the post-season. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Is it possible for NU to replace Bo as HC, and offer Bo another position, and not have to pay the $7.7 million? This would be slightly shady, as I cannot image Bo staying if removed as HC. I am sure this was addresses in Bo's contract. Quote Link to comment
HuskersTK421
Feel bad for the Husker players.....and love em all. They didn't quit...sorry they end the regular season on this note. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the bad part. These guys are stuck in the middle of everything. They did fight man. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Recall that we're actually one miracle catch away from a FIVE loss regular season here... And let's not forget that, if we had the same schedule as the last two seasons (playing OSU and Wiscy instead of Illinois and Purdue), it's a six, close to seven loss season. Or if Michigan wasn't having a very bad year. Quote Link to comment
