Red Five Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 Still 100% committed but is considering taking some other visits. Doesn't sound like anything serious, just wants to look at some places. I don't think there should be much worry here with him being a legacy and John being a die-hard Nebraska fan his whole life. I always get a little worried with commits take visits elsewhere. I can see where he is coming from since he committed last year and isn't going through the process like a lot of his peers. He's probably getting a little "itchy" to see what else is out there. Is having his tonsils out Monday so he'll see how's he's feeling before deciding to attend the second BRW next weekend.I'd be surprised if he made it next weekend. I was just visiting there for a home night game, and you know that song they play — what is it, “Sirius” — before they walk out? The fans were going crazy and I just got a feeling that I just didn’t get anywhere else, so I just decided right then and there to pull the trigger. So you commit, then the coaching staff got fired. What was going through your mind when that happened? It didn’t really bother me, to be honest. I had a feeling that could happen either before I got there or soon after I get there, so I tried to make my decision based on other aspects of the school and not the coaching staff.
