Even in light of his other stupid activity, a perma-ban would not be justified. The fan should feel like a complete moron and have his seats moved. My problem is, Marcus Smart is an African-American athlete who plans on going to the next level. He should hold himself to a higher standard and not stoop to the level of that TT fan, or any fan for that matter. He will be a professional athlete if everything goes well for him, and he will be facing these same things there as well but could be worse due to alcohol consumption being in the arenas.
