Abdullah the Butcher
Wisconsin, it was national tv playing for a championship and we were ranked 12th against an unranked team we had already beat. 5 Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
We lost to Tech by 60. We lost to wiscy by 39. Tech    Ok not really. Obviously wiscy for reasons that already have been and will be discussed. Quote Link to comment
QMany
Ok not really. Please, no joking around on this message board. You may be reported. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Georgia Tech 1990 Â They won a share of the national championship. Not even close. OU in 1990 would have been a better choice for that year. Â Neither compares with the recent embarrassments. Getting manhandled by Minnesota last season is an underrated embarrassment. Â OU in 1990 was the bigger blowout.....but we were used to getting beat by OU. Saying nothing compares to recent embarrassments is an opinion, which you are as free to share on a message board as I am. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Anytime you get 70 hung on you in a championship game by a 7-5 team should constitute most embarrassment. 4 Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Wisconsin averaged 10.8 ypc in that game. They only threw the ball 10 times. Incredible. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
As much as 70-10 hurt, by then they'd already lost to Southern Miss and would go on to lose others. On 12-3-2012, there was a primetime national audience regardless of how many actually watched, with a conference championship on the line. Quote Link to comment
TAKODA
I am not very good with test and under pressure, so please just tell me the answer! Quote Link to comment
LukeinNE
Objectively, Texas Tech. Bigger loss, worse opponent. Â Which one stung worse? Wisconsin, for all of the reasons mentioned. Quote Link to comment
Redux
Iowa State 2009 will always get a mention Quote Link to comment
