Literally nobody said he's having an amazing performance. Both defenses are good, the difference is one QB is good, and one is not. You're arguing a strawman.

We will be 5 and 1 after this game. I would venture a bet that 90+% of the posters on this board inked this in as a loss before the season started. Why all the angst....because we looked better getting to 5 and 0 than anyone expected. Now we're losing to a much higher ranking team, on the road, in the rain and life suddenly sucks? It was a beautifal back shoulder pass over the DB's head. He's not getting the completions, but he's getting the yards because he's hitting the big throws. If we switched QB's, we're winning, easily.

You just proved my point. He's amazing compared to our QB. A marginally competent QB has Nebraska in this game. If anything Cook is worse than I thought he was

The trolls are heavy in here. I don't think TA has played that poorly tonight... Considering they took away a HUGE part of his game and our O by killing our zone read all night.

 

I think any if you all calling him out need to examine how damn hard it is to play the trigger man in this offense with your OL sucking donkey balls all night, AA totally shut down, and dantonio's defense harassing you all night. Ain't a damn picnic in the park.

Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't say AA shut down. He's played as hard as anybody out there. There's just nothing that's been open. Part of that is on the horrendous job done by the OL for not the first time this year. Another part of it has to be on Beck for not being able to figure out a more effective way to attack this defense.

 

To those calling for Stanton, how many plays has he had? Let's not throw him to the wolves, thanks. Fyfe's the #2 and he's the one who has prepared for moments like this.
