This defense needs confidence right now. Preserving goose eggs will provide it. I don't care what the scoreboard says, giving up 500 yards to Illinois is terrible. We're lucky to be winning this game, should be down 3 scores. Who has given up 500??? So was sparty lucky today??Dude, if you think that the defense has been good today, I need some of what you're smoking. Seriously. PM me. Nice stop there tho. Penalties, tho. Ugh. We got away with some pretty ugly plays. that's part of football. I can't remember any husker wins where we didn't get away with some ugly plays.Thank you. The game isn't played in a vacuum.
