Coaches coach and players play if we run the ball more and eat clock, this is still a 21-0 maybe even a 28-0 game.

21-0 at worse IMO.

Tommy just drives me completely crazy. I know Langs calls the plays, but a player with the experience of Tommy needs to just throw the damn ball away. The first pick he missed completely, the second INT is ALL on Tommy!!!!

His worst mechanical issues are not his feet, but his thought process at times....

Its comforting to realize that Langs learns nothing. And at the first time to go all pass happy he does...

When an opponent is this bad, they've given up and your guys get aggressive like this, you as a coach have to know they're going to get sloppy and careless. It may be fun to throw bombs in a game like this, but it's unneeded, and dangerous. You as a coach have to reign them in.

Yep. Instill a culture of winning. Instill a culture of ending games quickly.

After the Illinois game when he said he didn't want to take a sack on the 3rd down play because he didn't want to get out of field goal range...made me cringe so hard when he said that.

How can you reign him in when he knows that there is nothing behind him and he is going to get to play no matter what he does?

Pretty strange last couple minutes to end the half, huh?

Up 21-0 and having decent success running the ball, especially after TA has just come off throwing an INT, we should've ran the ball a few times. If you wanted to pass, you look for those shorter, intermediary routes. If Eli threw a pick in NY, did Langs immediately dial up a riskier pass heavy drive on the next series?

It's ridiculous: being up 21-0 at half is infinitely better than 21-7, not only from a score standpoint but also from a momentum standpoint.

Tommy's been damn near perfect throwing everything and anything en route to 21 point lead.

So Langs is suddenly a moron for continuing what's been working.

Not sure I like that logic.

He was perfect throwing with the wind. Been throwing against the wind in the second quarter and has struggled. That's the logic.

And he got lucky on a couple plays when the DBs were no looking for the ball. TA has thrown a lot of passes, and you know he is good for a boneheaded throw every now and then. Why take that chance when you have a 21 point lead? Run the ball down their throat, break their will, do not give them a chance at a momentum changing play.

Because our OL isn't good enough to run it down their throat and break their will. Hopefully someday soon we will have an OL that can do that, but it isn't who we are right now.

You may be right, but we never stick with the run long enough to find out. In any case, with a 21 point lead, run the ball, eat the clock, and take the 21 point lead into the half. Your D has been shutting them down. Just don't let them back in the game.

That is another issue, TA has a ton of heart, but isn't very smart when it comes to playing the position.
