Beez
we look much more disciplined. We wont make every play. But if you look around the league. Lots of teams struggling. Yeah, personally I'd like to see better playcalling. 3rd and 4, run it. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Outside of the dumb lateral play call in the red zone, overall this game has gone as I would have expected. Our D needs to get at least one turnover in the 2nd half as right now they are allowing Oregon to score every other drive it seems. 1 Quote Link to comment

I've noticed we don't look dejected when we're losing. During the Pelini years, they would have given up by now. Quote Link to comment

In the Deed the Glory
I know it has been said already, but did anybody else just FEEL that punt return from DPE coming? I could just feel it in my gut we needed to make a play and he has a knack for doing that. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Honestly, I really don't think Oregon is that greatThey lost their #1 rb in Freeman. That guy was eating us alive before his injury.ah that is true. Forgot about that! They're doing X-Rays at the half I thought? So I don't know he's gone for good... Hate to say it but i hope hes out the rest of this game but back next week. That kid is a beast. Quote Link to comment
mwj98
Its almost like we want to run this offense no matter what. Offensive coordinator needs to know, armstrongs limitations. Cant force it. Just cant. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
That punt return may have saved the game for us. Inability to run the ball is concerning. They're putting 7-8 in the box. It's to be expected. We need Langs to keep pounding the rock to a) keep Oregon honest, b) wear their defense down, and c) eat clock to help our defense. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
For the second half I would LOVE to see Tommy Armstrong make plays with his legs. Guy needs to roll out and run the football. oregon is bringing pressure and forcing him to pass, we need to utilitze his speed and legs to make plays. And use that to get short passes to our speedy "greatest show on turf" style receivers. 2 Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
To win this game we must commit no more turnovers, force a turnover on Oregon, capitalize off all Oregon mistakes or failed scoring possesions. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I'm wondering if Newby and Ozigbo will lose there spots since they can't do much when it counts? If Bryant could hang onto the ball he would be starting before the end of the year 1 Quote Link to comment

BoNeyard
Offensive line needs to step it up. Quote Link to comment
