Lol. That's some serious revisionist history by Tucker et al. over at Fox News. They're going to condition their voters that if moderate GOPers like Gillespie can't win, they need to double down on more Trumpists. Which will in turn get them roundly smashed down ballot in a lot of places with, you know, people.

 

Interesting to see the ballot measure for a Constitutional Convention in New York state get crushed so roundly. Something like 80 no to 20 yes last I checked.

 

Here's another really cool story from tonight. Remember the reporter and cameraman who were gunned down while filming live in a park not too long ago? Her boyfriend ran for a House seat in VA and knocked off an incumbent R:

 

 

Also, yes, it's totally fine for Trump to endorse candidates. He's just so dang ham-handed about it. Spouting off seriously dishonest tweets that border on propaganda. It's like he just runs at a brick wall headfirst with his endorsements (and his Twitter slams). Pretty disappointing for a U.S. President to so routinely use dishonesty to try to advance his agenda.

This is BIG news breaking in the race for the Alabama Senate seat Jeff Sessions vacated. They're voting on this seat in just over a month. If this story proves true... a rather important if... it only strengthens assertions by a lot of people that Roy Moore is a garbage human being. Just for different reasons than any of us realized.

^^^^ If the national Dem party wasn't in such a mess, I'd say 2018 would be setting up to be a bloodbath and you could see a flip in both house and senate.  2018 will be a race to see who can get their act together first.  Wt Trump leading the repubs, that shouldn't be too tall of an order for the Dems.
