Tebow idolized Tommy Frazier and I honestly believe if TO would stuck around, he'd a signed him. Could you imagine what a Tom Osborne offense could have done with a player the caliber of Tebow? And just talking about the QBs we had, Taylor Martinez and Tommy Armstrong would have been superstars in his offense. It is theoretically possible we could have won 2 national championship with Tebow, at least one with Taylor Martinez, and probably two with Tommy Armstrong. Imagine TO with 7-8 national championships, instead of just 3. Sigh, what might have been. By the way, a belated Happy Birthday to Coach Osborne. Quote Link to comment

He probably wins 2 with Eric Crouch - Frank would have/should have won one in 99 except for a fumble at Texas. That team would have won playing either VT or FSU who played that year. Good chance he wins again Crouch's senior year - even playing the same Miami team - we would have had Tom's recruits and the D would have been better. Yes, if Tebow had come to NU and Tom was coach - no doubt. We have to remember we would have had the pipeline still and many of the good recruits; in the same way Bama has the coach and reputation today - recruits are attracted to success and success breeds more success.
