I don't discuss the Reade thing all that much because I don't think it matters all that much in terms of the election.

If we're being honest, progressives have been swearing this that and the other thing will finally be what ends the Biden campaign, well, since he started his campaign. And as of yet nothing has done the job.

We were told by progressives that it didn't matter that Trump or the GOP was going to brand Sanders a socialist because it didn't matter what they thought or called the nominee because it was a bad-faith attack. But now it matters very much what Trump is going to think or call Joe Biden? Baloney.

The Reade thing just doesn't seem to matter all that much to voters outside certain progressive circles and Republican ones who use it to question Biden's electability. I don't care how many tweets Trump sends off or Youtube compilation videos are slapped together to hurt Biden because he continues to lead in most polls by a fairly healthy margin. So far this stuff just isn't taking off.

Here's a story and an accompanying graphic depicting what words voters associate with different candidates. According to this the Burisma stuff may have stuck just a smidgen to Biden to create an avenue for attack but none of the other stuff has outside of Republicanland.

Sure Dems are more likely to care about this stuff than Republicans. But if you think suddenly people who vote on the basis of treatment of women are going to find Trump preferable to Biden I think you're delusional.

Haha, worrying that Biden will lose is now pushing an agenda? Despite having said that same thing for a year now?

I'm not the one that supports a President who thinks he's a King with ultimate power to do whatever he wants.  Where do you draw the line?

Me neither as I mentioned.  But since I asked first, have you even thought about how you would differentiate between legitimate uses of Trump's power to fight the virus and abuses of power??

I know what you've been trying to do here, but the answer has always been the same:  bipartisan support for Donald Trump to exercise what have traditionally been wartime powers to enlist private companies in the manufacture of very specific life-saving equipment for this particular crisis.

I don't see how that's very controversial.  Traditional wartime presidents don't enlist private companies to close churches and disperse protesters.

Abraham Lincoln did shut down newspapers that criticized him but he is not remembered well for it.

Guilty and defensive of... what?  Have you looked into Reade's allegations?

Who is going to write that headline, when almost every major news outlet has looked into her story and passed?

Won't those same news outlets instead be reporting on the Trump allegations in the courts?

Do you have an explanation as to why the Trump accusers are not celebrities on CNN MSNBC salon.com etc etc?

I have asked that of many jaded Hilary supporters and their answers are so crazy that you wouldn't believe me.

Wait....you don’t support Trump?

Who are you going to vote for?

I can't keep up with this thread since I still go to work everyday, but I've read a whole bunch of holier than thou BS that paints anyone who doesn't vote for Biden as a terrible person.

It's obvious which candidate is better for our future if it comes down to Trump and...well anyone, but does anyone live in a state where their vote actually matters? I lived in SD last time around and am in MN this time. It was a short move, and the two states have wildly different ideologies, but both have both voted the same way in the general election the past 48 years.

Sure, I could vote for Biden because he is better than Trump - as any functioning adult would be. However, knowing my vote means nothing I will again vote for anyone but the s#!tty candidates that the establishment has given us. This country desperately needs a third party or a strong independent presence.

If you’re in MN now, your vote absolutely matters.

There was a 1.5% margin of victory over Trump in 2016.
