Lol, no way in hell. 6 or 7 is the max unless this team completely wakes up. We should win Purdue, the rest are a toss up at best. We just aren’t that good

Schedule is favorable. Minny, Indy, Purdue, Maryland are very winnable games. Pick up 1 extra is 9. Iowa looked ordinary to me today.

So, that is the game plan going forward?  Be stubborn with who Frosty plays “just because” and hope Robinson can win us the game or acknowledge we have some real issues and see if anyone else is better?

We do have issues but we have players like Robinson, Spielman, and Mo when he’s not banged up that help mask them and until the young talent we have develops that’s what we have to deal with. We have the youngest roster in the BIG 10 so we have to rely on these difference makers until others step up.  So you creating hypothetical situations doesn’t do anything except create gloom in your own mind.  Robinson was recruited so he can be our Rondale Moore and take over games, that’s what he has done. Enjoy it or keep imagining he isn’t here.

No one is saying we don't have issues, but that doesn't make your post about taking away big plays make anymore sense.

We can play NW ball better than NW!  0 turnovers and 1 for NW.  Penalties favor NW but not excessively 6-50 vs. 8-74 for us.  Coaches can't do much about penalties but they can help with turnovers.  Maybe due to turnover concerns and the wind we had conservative play calling.  Unless you are vastly superior, the way to beat NW is not to beat yourself.  If NW had 400 yards to our 319 it would have made it a perfect ugly win, NW style.

100%.We looked like a Big Ten team today. Ugly football can be good football.

Why do people do this? Wandale is part of our team. Our coaches were able to recruit him. He's not some bonus thing you can take away or add willy nilly to try to make a point.

You may as well just say "If we hadn't scored more points than the other team we would've lost!"

It makes about as much sense as an argument.

No, no one is taking it away from him as he is special.  What is real is that other teams will realize how below average we are if they take him away, then what?  Is there others to step up?  Through 6 games, I’d say no.

...and ignored everything else that went on, apparently.

No, just they did what we wanted to do better than we did it.....kinda like when we play WI and they also out Nebraska us using the formula they took from us and now do it better than us with lower ranked recruiting classes.

I think the only real positive you can take from this game is we won in a close game. Last year, we lost these games, so that is progress. However, the offense looks lost, completely effing lost. Thankfully our defense has progressed and is able to

make stops. With a “superstar” quarterback we should be rolling in games like these, but we are not.  Still waiting for the light to come on, hopefully it will

Oh good, so we are beating WI now too due to the transitive property.  We will soon be playing for the Big too
