It's very sad because that is a common belief at the moment. The flu has killed more people at this point therefor it's more dangerous in their mind. What they fail to realize is we are at the very beginning of this. Even the 10-49 age range is at a greater risk than the flu poses. We need to take every available precaution to limit this. Infected Fatality Rate is expected to be at around 1%, Case fatality rate is currently around 3% - but to get the infected fatality rate they have to factor in the people they think have it, but are showing little to no signs or symptoms. You are 100% right on people over 65, in fact the average age of Covid deaths in Italy is currently 81.4. Link to comment
