But I don’t think he should be fired or even disciplined. The university should also have better communication with their employees if they haven’t all been told they need to stay home if they have coronavirus symptoms, even if they’re as important as Hoiberg. 1 Link to comment
knapplc
Michael Jordan played with the flu and nobody batted an eye. Let's stop trying to instigate stuff in this thread, shall we? Link to comment

People are crying about the state basketball tourney and they should let who wants to come come. Ridiculously selfish. Basketball, business, music concert none of it is that important! Half this stuff can be rescheduled. People are acting like it's not going to get much much worse and everything is going to remain static Link to comment

Yes, "listen to the experts, take precautions, be smart" is exactly "whipping people into a frenzy." Kudos. 1 2 Link to comment

He isnt trying to whip anyone into a frenzy. If you aren't taking this seriously you need to majorly reevaluate 1 Link to comment

commando
it's here....and there isn't a whole hell of a lot we can do to keep it out now. but...knowing how easily this spreads and how virulent it is....we should start being smart about going to work when we feel sick. we are not doctors. we don't have a test kit sitting around that we can use to diagnose whether we have corona virus or something else. it is up to all of us to lower the risk of transmitting this. it may suck but unless you don't give a damn about your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, community you have to bite the bullet and stay home when you are feeling sick right now. At this time absolutely anyone experiencing symptoms should self quarantine until they can be tested. You can stop asking everyone this ridiculous question now. 3 Link to comment

knapplc
It's going to get worse in this country before it gets better (per health experts) precisely because of this kind of inefficiency: Link to comment
