Freaking lefty socialist Biden freakin’ embracing capitalistic ideas that make low supply of houses worth more with high demand and not making sure home prices are in line with income. We should elect a Republican that wants to control wages and housing markets with much tougher regulation!!! 2 Link to comment

I saw zero poop, felt perfectly safe, and saw less homeless people than I do here in the Detroit area. Link to comment

Those are good questions. The better question is why not even one house republican voted for allowing medicare to negotiate prices. I think the answer to your question is simple math. Less money flowing into big pharma = less money flowing into politicians coffers. The rest of the world has figured out ways to have much more affordable drugs but the United States is completely baffled by it. 1 3 Link to comment

Well the answer is the bill this was stuffed into. It’s a byproduct of having everything thrown into one bill and then when one side doesn’t vote for it, the other side picks out small pieces and says “see they don’t support blah blah blah blah”. If Congress would actually work and submit smaller bills this may not be the case. who knows if more R’s would support the Medicare drug bill (probably not) if it was standalone but that’s your main answer. 1 Link to comment
