They can't score on anyone. The Minnesota team we played today missing 33 players should be the worst team in the conference. But now who is the worst team in the conference? Quote Link to comment

Well if he did jump, his theory of breaking a curse was bunk and he should have stuck with stocking up on tinfoil and making hats 1 Quote Link to comment

Well that might be! But, they are still the worst right now... But really we are comparing two really crappy teams, so there really isn't a winner. Quote Link to comment

With other conferences playing it would have been disastrous long term, especially for recruiting, to not play. And our young team needs game time experience so bad it isn't funny We were going to play anyway. Our fit got us slapped by the conference trying to save face after Frost and Co once again whined to the media. No way to prove it now, except with the conferences willingness to change things now that they once said they would never revisit. plot twist- we turned out to be the villains. Quote Link to comment

We weren't the villains. Not then. Not now. We just didn't have much of a team this year. If the Huskers had come out on fire and been any kind of factor in the Big 10, we would have been a feelgood story and the Big 10 would have welcomed it, like they did Indiana. If anything the media has been nicer to Nebraska than our own fans. Like it or not, the unexpected failure of Scott Frost's return to Nebraska is a story. Otherwise there's not much reason to talk about Nebraska at all. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Frost should be ashamed to accept his $5M comp for the terrible state of a program 3 years into his tenure. No excuses. If this happened in corporate America he would have been canned long ago. It was a smoke in mirrors attempt that felt like the ultimate rally cry for unification. It was a fairy tale storyline about righting hardship and injustice, but in reality we were probably going to play anyway and all the grandstanding and confrontation was just a sad coverup for the fact that we’re not a good team and will likely never be good for a very long time. the thing about fairy tales is that in the end, the villain always loses. I will admit I bought into this. Rallied the fans and team. Never more unified and then we started playing....And I saw a team in complete disarray. Not really different than the previous two years.
