Frost is 841st out of 869 coaches who played in more than 10 1 score games......That's my concern. What is it that has him almost dead last in close games.....

I gotta believe these tight losses are growing pains.  We've been in some slugfests and yeah we're playing Tex Cobb but if this team doesn't give up, we're going to f#&% up Iowa's wet dream.

BTW... the last series everyone want to pin on Martinez... take a look at the time the line gave him.

Yep.  Refs were awful today. And in one direction it seems.

The line didn't fumble the ball and that is what counts at the end unfortunately.

Take a look at the second down pass on the last drive.  Wide open for 10 or more yards.

Adrian is a better player this year.  This team is the best in a while.  It's literally a couple plays that kill us.  The fumble.  The missed crossing pattern...killer.

 

Adrian missed two open throws against NW early before he ran the option right for his 3rd running score of the 1st Quarter.  We could've scored the pass before.  Adrian made up for it.

 

Against UM, you don't get many 2nd chances.  You make the play first.

 

This was a tough loss.  We fought valiantly...

Why did it take the 2nd half to turn AM lose?  Where was that play calling.  Or the play calling in the final drive. I sound like a broken record, but 5-16 in one score games.  That's 841st out of 869 with 10 or more one score games.....Blame it on the QB or whomever, but that sucks.  That's coaching.  We have no 2 minute offense.......
