I like these alternates.  I also think that people get too caught up in "these aren't exactly like the old uniforms".  Of course they aren't going to be exactly the same.  The uniforms are being made 40 years apart.  Uniforms construction has changed a lot since then.

 

As a tribute to the Scoring Explosion teams, I think these look great.

 

Also another tribute they could could try bringing those players back into the program to speak. Anybody know when was the last time Irving been around the program?

He already served his time for mortgage fraud along with his mother. Both were convicted. Still i think that he could get something out of it if he came back and the players as well. Once a husker, always a husker!!!!

Pretty sure Bike is just the pads. I remember we still had those high hip ones in Peewee, and some guys still wore them in highschool even though uniforms were a lot tighter by then.

Yeah, the pads are definitely Bike.  I didn't know if he just read it wrong or where he got Nike.
