Probably decomitted from Georgia after he realized UCF>Auburn>Georgia. Figured he wanted to play for a National Champion.

Understatement of the year, but we NEED to land him.  This is the type of athlete we need on the edge.  You want to see a change in the defense?  Restore the blackshirt tradition?  This is it.

Visit went well. Mom came with and was impressed.

Apparently him or his family has a previous connection with Breon Dixon and he liked that he will be coming here.

Coach listed Florida, Auburn, Miss St and Ole Miss as other schools after him.

No decision date set

Word is his coach is a BIG Scott Frost fan.  Helps having someone close who is telling him good things about us.

Tannor

Jones

Bell

Henry

Would not mind these 4 to round out the class. Throw in a Tackle and hip hip.

Imo, have to take a CB.

Agreed. Clouse shot out the number 6 today. Not sure how we'd make that work but 6 would allow those four and Clark and maybe Tago. Tannor is one of my favorites and hope we can snag him.

Clouse said he likes our chances with Tannor.  So go ahead and get your picks for Florida in.

Glad we are trending up with JJB, because I think we are trending the other with Tannor.

Yeah, I read an article on 247 this afternoon that was by a Gator writer of some sort... guess which team Tannor didn’t even mention as a potential landing spot?

Again, could’ve been oversight by the writer, because he was getting his jollies over saying that Tannor is SEC bound a couple times, but it doesn’t look great.

From Chad Simmons on RSS:

- Caleb is down to Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Nebraska.

- FSU gets last visit.

- Some believe that Auburn is the leader.

- Nebraska and Florida have made up ground.

- People close to him really like Nebraska and what it has to offer him.  They also like the way Nebraska has recruited him.

- Caleb is very torn and confused because he loves all of those schools.

- Don’t expect to hear about a decision or anything close to one until Monday or Tuesday before NSD.

Jesus Florida get some uniforms that fit properly.  This is just sad.

Florida playing in jorts this year.  Fashion trend?

Pretty sure that’s a penalty this year. Your pants have to go over your knees and have knee pads in place.

Pretty sure that has always been a rule.  It's just never enforced.  Just like mouth pieces

Quote

Beginning in 2018, players’ pants must have knee pads such that the pants and the pads cover the knees. Previously, the rules recommended that the knees be covered, but this was not required. The committee is delaying implementation of the mandate until 2018 because a number of schools have already bought equipment for the year. There is great concern throughout the football world about the tendency for some players to wear “biker’s shorts” that only come to within several inches of the knee. This is a safety issue as well as one that does not present a good look for the game.

Well then......  this quote is worded stupidly.  Says previous Rule recommended.. then it's not a rule it's a recommendation.  I also don't agree with it.  I don't think DBs should have to wear them.  They aren't taking shots to knees on every play or the lower half of their body like a ball carrier would. Lbs get cut more often and are in the mix more often.  But again the knee pad is really just gonna keep you from getting bruised.  Thanks for the info tho

A lot of people believe that wearing knee pads also help keep other players from getting concussions due to the impact being softened instead of getting a bare knee to the side of the helmet

I would definitely have to disagree on that.  Unless they are going to change the rule on required thickness of the knee pad.

If you ever been a boxer or training for boxing, youd think differently :)
