That sucks in a way. I always liked when he called Husker games. Any game really. Glad he will still be announcing though.

Well Fox did get half of the B1G rights. Will still probably get him on some Husker games.

Spielman/McD and Johnson/Davis were my two fave duo's, now I'm left with zero broadcasting crews that I like. I'd take any B1G crew over any ESPN/Fox tandem, and that's not saying much. I'm happy for any promotion Spielman gets.

Yessir. The match ups, the rabid fanbase, and hardcore college football fan will even tune in to check the game out, which will increase the TV rating and support the reasoning behind a prime time game.

I find the "irrelevant" discussion a funny one. I know we aren't relevant to the elite program standards, but football world is waiting for Nebraska to make its return to dominance. Like they did with ND, OU, Texas, SC, etc. Whether they want to admit it or not.

That melt down tho..he could go on to win 5 or 10 more majors, and it won't define his career, but it may be the most memorable moment of his career.

Adam Conley. A lefty who has worked his way through their farm system, got some starts last season, but had to prove it this spring with a new manager. Really happy for him, most determined kid I watched throw.

It's really exciting. I think the first professional athlete from my high school too.

He also made mistakes in critical moments... But that's part of the game, and he was a young kid.

I still love the bowl game TD where he picked up the unsportsmanlike for flexing, that was awesome.

He's a freak athlete who was a very mediocre receiver because of his small hands.
