      ...Nixon?

      ...W?

      ...Iran Contra? That was fine?

Building up normal people into fantastical villains is a time-honored political strategy. Forgive me for not indulging the GOP in this.

It shouldn't take any fantastical villianizing to see why Hillary isn't fit for the office but whatever. It's pretty apparent you would never indulge the GOP. Let's be honest, if the GOP had a stellar candidate with no character flaws, you would still vote for Hillary. You either don't see it or don't want to. I can accept voting for HC to keep DT out but the constant rationalizations that she is an acceptable candidate for potus makes me incredulously sad. Anyway I...

We'll agree to disagree, but I think these armchair character appraisals tend to be rather silly. In Trump's case it's merited, but his is a fairly extraordinary case.

In most cases I'm all for withering criticism and opposition, but would have to refrain from character speculation. Even for 'W.

Yeah, I basically agree that Erdogan needs to go. But habitual coups are maybe not the best thing either.

Also, now that it's failed, it'll simply give Erdogan even more excuse to seize power. Great.

^ Not sure if that's supposed to be a serious comment, but Parella is off to a much better start than Keith Williams was in his first year. So I'd say he's doing more than fine so far.

The ball trapping itself was friggin horrible, I trapped better than that in grade school pickup games. Our midfield is pretty bad if we can only count on Jones anymore.

Cameron is good for one piss poor f up a game that leads to a shot. He definitely had a few last night and 1 did lead to a goal.

I hope they go with some of these young guns from the start for the 3rd place match. Pulisic, Nagbe. There's a third place match, right?

We already vet immigrants. If I had to guess who'd be the next radical to do something in the U.S., it'd be someone who was already here and heard Donald Trump one too many times.

    4. TonyStalloni

      TonyStalloni

I would still allow the immigration of Christian immigrants. They are much easier to vet and would assimilate better to our culture.

  17. Never thought I'd see the day where a Republican candidate rattles off agencies he'll cut, and a Fox anchor takes him to task by saying they don't cost much to begin with.

It should be a clue as to how far out there the cadidate is when it makes Fox News look like just another liberal leaning news outlet.

    4. zoogs

      zoogs

It's not like Trump's economic policy is that far right, either. I think Paul Ryan's 2012 budget proposal had similar questions; he could cut almost everything and it wouldn't add up to enough. It's just that Fox wants to destroy Trump, and in doing so finds itself capable of logic it otherwise does not possess!

Doesn't honestly matter too much if they end up at 51-48. She might get 1 or 2 more delegates at most.

    2. zoogs

      zoogs

Oh, that's right. I can never keep track of how the delegate math works. It looks like Bernie has made a solid showing of it, which I think is a positive, even if I'm not really on board myself.

  21. This is your moment, Mr. McConnell.

  22. Mike Riley has a younger brother Ed who is an anesthesiology professor at Stanford. Cool!
