The aftermarket (skull candy) ones with the XL "washers" are perfectly shaped..Just seems like a waste, no one I know fits the originals

I also have huge ears. I bought Phillips earbuds that fit great and they have a way "acoustic range," if you will, than iPod earbuds. I think they were $10, a great investment.

I know the rates used to go down dramatically on the weekends out in Sorrento valley. I've stayed in the Hyatt or Country Inn before, on the weekend. But that's a long ways from the beach or anything of interest.

Also, I stayed in a Vagabond Inn just a couple blocks from the beach once. It was pretty cheap.
