This team seems to have a lot of confidence at times.  They don't have a killer instinct most of the time.  We missed a lot of layups and as you said free throws.  It could have been a 12-15 point win. Still a W though.

Yup. Watson struggled to hit shots/lay-ups all game long, then hits 2 huge free-throws and gets a block on a shot attempt to basically win the game.

BTN listed the top five biggest B1G games left to play.  PSU@NU was #1 on the list. Oh yeah!

Depends on the team’s identity. Defense isn’t worth much if the pitching isn’t there. The Royals won a World Series with relief pitching and defense. I think small market teams have to exploit the weaknesses of their division 

You should be blaming Presti. He screwed the pooch at an all-time level with this roster and franchise. 

I don't mind Donovan, its Melo who has continually fallen up short when it matters that bothers me. I'm afraid not a lot of teams would be willing to give up young talent for him unless they are desperate for an older star.

I was very pleaseed to see the team fight and claw in the second half. Its amazing how 2 plays can change the course of a game like that. The play by the Mizzou big man to throw the ball off Ubel, and Lance Jeters charging call with 4 minutes left.
