      I injected plain old beef broth the night before. I've only used the beef rub recipe on their so far (and his memphis rub for ribs, which was great!). This time I added paprika to the beef rub though. We'll see how it goes.

      When I do a whole packer, the flat is ready probably an hour or so before the point. The flat is always tougher but wet aging in fridge for even a couple days helps.

      You guys ever use JB Fatboy rubs? The pecan rub on beef ribs is epic .the regular is a must for my ribs and brisket.

      Until we get talent and depth on our lines we're going to be disappointed. That make take a few years and with a rough schedule coming up I think there's going to be a number of upset husker fans for awhile. That said if we can ride out the next 3 seasons I think we'll be in good shape long term.

      I actually really like our staff right now. I like the direction we're moving, but 2017 is the year where things could have gone really right and I don't think we have the DL for it. OL has great potential, but they're young. 2018 has a brutal schedule. I think 2019 we win the division and have a good shot at the conference if we recruit well this upcoming year and don't fire our coaches over 2018.

    So Cunningham had a good point. Sark was supposed to have no coaching contact with player, and all of the sudde he is promoted to OC a werk before the Natty. Something smells a little fishy there. No way he was playing by the rules and could be an OC in a week.
