      @BigRedBuster I agree. I don't know how many athletes have stayed 100% clean but the rules are the rules. I just hope the punishment fits the "crime".

      Thanks, knapplc. I don't expect anyone to feel bad for OSU. 

       

      The NCAA is going to be in an odd spot here, if he did take money from an agent, because of the whole proposed legislation for college athletes and the push for them to be allowed to make money. It will be interesting to see how they handle this because of the backlash that might ensue (one way or another). We are far removed from the problems at USC and OSU of almost a decade ago.

      If he did wrong, even if most don't agree with the rules, then he needs to be done. It is what it is. Next man up. Hopefully OSU self reported it as soon as they found out about it.

    As the hubby of Gabby Union, Dwyane Wade is going to be in Lincoln.  There are rumors that Lebron might be joining him in Lincoln this week.  Lebron is supposedly a big Ohio State football fan, growing up in Akron.

    Why is anyone using the mobile site at this point? I still haven't seen one single ad on the desktop version. I have always used the desktop version on my phone, iPad and computer. Never did like the mobile version.

      This is annoying. 

       

      Over the past few years, I have seen more and more OSU shirts that just say "THE" on it. These shirts are just as annoying as OSU trying to trademark "THE".

       

      @HuskerInLostWages I am sure Miami has trademarked "The U".

    What if I told you that Nebraska's game against tOSU last year had the makings of a convincing win (17-24 pts) favoring the Big Red. I really hope the self inflicting play is behind this program. It would make all the difference.

      Maybe Nebraska wins the game but I am more or less saying that I hear all the time how Penn State and Michigan should have beat the Buckeyes by x amount of points. They haven't been able to turn those "should have" games into actual wins all that much in the last few years.

    I've read and heard maybe 50 times how Ohio State is going to stomp NU because they'll be mad.  My question is why can Ohio State be mad they got beat by Purdue 2 weeks ago but Nebraska can't be mad they're 2-6?

      @ZRod Some Buckeye fans think the sky is falling all the time. "Fire Fickell, Fire Ash, Fire Herman, Fire Beck (should have never hired him), Fire Davis, Fire Schiano, Fire Urban."  I go to places like Huskerboard to get away from them.

       

      @The Dude The Buckeyes don't need to be mad at all to play undisciplined football.

      I don't know, two weeks of hearing how they are horrible and can't run the ball or stop anyone might make them mad. Hopefully.

      Mad? Maybe, but I think most Buckeye fans are a little worried. OSU usually bounces back after a loss but this year's defense is very suspect. OSU will give up a lot of yards and points. They haven't played angry and aggressive all year.

      @C N Red, if true, that is some long term play since he had surgery for this a few years ago. In case you didn't know, people can have health problems and the problems can be chronic. Don't let your hate for another team's coach get in the way of being human.
