we had a lot of coaches who could tip a few.   i drank with a couple of them at 1 of their hangouts.   never saw Bob there but know he could drink with the best of them.

Putting the dots together Wager got blitzed at the Nebraska HS Coaches Convention Happy Hour on Wednesday night in the Haymarket.  Jack Pontenza (DL GA), Tony White, and Ed Foley were speakers at the conference.

1:24 AM is on the citation if I am reading correctly.  And pulled over in the Haymarket.

 

So maybe he went to Gate 24 and asked for the Scott Frost Memorial Booth and had a few more after the 11:30 last call at the convention.
