Yep. That’s brutal. Seems like a Buffalo already. WE COMING.

Outside of Deion's kids and Hunter (and they are on deals with national companies outside of CU's collective), the Buffs NIL game is terrible.  So if he is going for a bag, that is not the place.

yeah but if you can get a national brand to get you on a paid advertisement deal that would be well worth it.  I'm sure coach Prime has some connections at AFLAC

Something that some of these guys are going to figure out is that their reputation and attitude can negatively affect if a company is going to pay them a bunch of money for advertising.

The hot rumor around Iowa was that Chip Kelly was going to leave UCLA to become Kirk's OC and Thompson was going to be their new QB.

Ell Oh Freaking Ell

Honestly I expect it to be one of their current assistants like Ladell Betts. Kirk isn't going to waste so much breath talking about "how we do things here" and then hire a big name from outside his circle. It might be someone not currently employed by Iowa, but the Chip Kelly/Scott Frost type rumors are absurd - he's not changing his offensive philosophy at this point.

Maryland QB Tagovaiola in the portal. Would need a waiver for 2024.

If he gets a waiver for another year, then just let everybody play in college for as many years as they want.

5 games in 2019, then Covid year, then 3 years starting for Maryland.  There was no injury that wiped out a season which is what normally gets someone an extra year.

He only has stats in 3 games in 2019 (including a 1 for 1 passing day), so presumably the other two they threw him out there to kneel it out or hand it off and there's a precedent for the NCAA granting an additional year in those cases.

He doesn't need a waiver he is a graduate transfer so he doesn't have to sit a year.

He's played in more than 4 games in 4 years already (not counting the covid year), so it's not an immediate eligibility waiver. He'd need a a waiver to play a 5th season at all.

Gotcha thanks.
