The Maudfather
Scoring another TD when we can easily run it out is classless. Plain and simple. Quote Link to comment
tschu
If Bo scores that TD he gets accused of running up the score. If he takes a knee, we get this thread. Either way, he's the bad guy. Haha, Bo doesn't have to directly answer to this thread though Quote Link to comment
tschu
Oh spare me the holier than thou attitude What was that all about? Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
Who is to say we would have even scored a TD, they probably would have stopped us. Im saying give the kid a chance to finish the awesome drive he put together. But whatever, I'll take everyones advice and get over it. Back to reading the threads bashing Martinez, Kinnie, and the defense. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
You do know that Austin has scored a TD before, right? It's not like he's Walter Payton getting stiffed in his only Super Bowl. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
No, I actually didn't know that. Thanks for enlightening me Quote Link to comment
scarletNcream
Wyoming is not a former conference mate - show respect agree Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
Bo showed class with this decision. The game was won, if he had tried to punch it in and we were to lose a lineman or even the back due to an injury this board would melt down telling him he should have taken the Knee. I have no issue with ending the game the way we did. GBR GBR GBR Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Jones is a good kid, I'd like to see him get a td, but in this scenario I think Bo did the right thing. Punching-in an unnecessary score in the last minute is rather douchey. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt39
i mentioned this in a different thread, but the team won't learn to finish games unless Bo lets them, and the washington game we somehow turned into a shootout by playing our 2-minutes-remaining-gameplan with 15 left and tonight Bo says no to a touchdown for a 5th string RB. Killer instinct, and we don't have it. Bingo. This has been a source of our problems, P*** Poor Attitude. You could tell it sent the wrong message to the team last night. Alot of the players were really upset. I hope Jones gets a chance at redemption he deserved that score more than anybody else. Bo should let him rotate in for Burkhead in the next couple of games and let him have his dues. Quote Link to comment

krc1995
I'm not sure if it is classy or not. Nothing like telling your opponet your not worth scoring on. I think it's a sign of disrespect. Quote Link to comment

I mean seriously, what if Wyoming somehow forced a fumble on the Victory play and ran it back for a 25 point TD?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?? Seriously, I fail to see how not going for another TD when you are already up 24 points with less than a minute to play. I don't know about killer instinct, because you will have to define what it means to you. Is only about being able put up tack on meaningless TD's or is it about being able to come thru after a bit of adversity. Frankly that is what they have shown in the 2nd Half all year so far. They have come out after a tight 1st Half and put up decent leads on everyone they have played. Quote Link to comment
